Al-Hilal came close to being crowned Saudi Football League Roshen, following a thrilling victory over Ahli Jeddah on Monday in the 30th round of the competition.
Aleksandar Mitrovic equalized for the Crescent in the 52nd minute, but in the 89 minute Brazilian Malcolm scored the winner after dribbling a number of Jeddah's civil players before finding the net.
Al-Hilal raised his tally to 86 points in first place, 12 points ahead of the second-placed victory, requiring one of the remaining four games to seal the league title in his favour, while Al-Ahli's balance froze at 55 points in third place.
